American Express credit approval criteria apply. Subject to Terms and Conditions. Interest rates, fees and charges apply. All Interest Rates are quoted as an Annual Percentage Rate. All information is correct as at 27 March 2013 and is subject to change.

1. Supplementary Cardmembers must be over 18 years of age. Primary Cardholders will be liable for all charges on Supplementary Cards.
2. The Credit Card gives you up to 55 days interest free on purchases, depending on when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued, whether you have obtained a balance transfer and whether or not you are carrying forward a balance on your account from the previous statement period. There are no interest-free days for cash advances or for any purchases where you are carrying forward a balance on your account from the previous statement period.
3. Offer only available to new American Express Card applicants who are current members of APS, who apply online via the enclosed links, are approved by 31 December 2013 and spend $500 on their Card Account within two months of becoming a Cardmember. Spend made by the first Supplementary Cardmember within two months of the Basic Cardmember becoming a member will contribute to the $500 spend. Only the Basic Cardmember is eligible to receive the $100 Gift Card and Supplementary Cardmembers are not eligible for this offer. Gift Card or Voucher rewards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or credit and are valid for six months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Enrolment in Membership Rewards Ascent can be cancelled at any time. Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. You will earn 0.5 points for every dollar you spend in Australia at merchants classified as: “utilities” which are gas, water and electricity providers; “insurance” (excluding insurances offered by American Express); “telecommunications providers” which includes goods and services purchased from phone, mobile and internet service providers; “government bodies” including the Australian Taxation Office, Australia Post, federal/state and local government bodies.
5. Qantas Direct enrolment required. Qantas Frequent Flyer members only. Earning of points is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Direct program for American Express Cards available at americanexpress.com.au/QDTerms Exclusions and limitations apply. Membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and earning and redemption of Qantas Frequent Flyer points are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program available at qantas.com/terms A joining fee applies. Once Qantas Frequent Flyer points have been transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account, they are governed by the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and cannot be reversed. Classic Award seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Some flights may not have any Classic Award seats available. 6. Selected Qantas products and services are Qantas passenger flights (with a QF number) purchased on the Qantas merchant account i.e. directly with Qantas, and Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays and Qantas branded non-airfare products. 7. Merchandise rewards are not exchangeable, refundable or transferrable for cash. For Merchandise rewards, a letter confirming your redemption will be sent to your current mailing address. Your reward will be delivered via courier within 14 business days of redemption and may require a signature upon delivery. If no-one is home, a calling card will be left so you are able to collect from your local post office. If any delay in delivery is expected, Cardmembers will also be notified by phone or postal mail. Please provide a daytime physical address in Australia. Goods cannot be delivered to a PO Box or an overseas address. These rewards are open only to Australian dollar Cardmembers who reside in Australia. Unless otherwise stated, additional products shown in images of rewards are for demonstration purposes only, and are not included as part of the reward. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions for non delivery of merchandise.
8. Gift Card or voucher rewards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or credit and are valid for a period of three months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Individual retailer Gift Card and voucher Terms and Conditions apply.
9. Points may be redeemed by the Basic Cardmember for a credit on the Primary Card Account. American Express may decline a points for Credit request where the Card Account or Cardmember’s other accounts with American Express are not in good standing. The redemption of points for Credit will be administered solely by American Express within three business days and cannot be reversed. Points for Credit is not available for redemption by Corporate Card accounts and is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.
10. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program. Partner Terms and Conditions apply. Available to Australian enrollees who reside in Australia only. A minimum of 7,500 points must be redeemed at any one time. American Express Corporate and Business Cardmembers enrolled in Membership Rewards Spirit are not eligible to redeem points with Webjet. 12. To transfer points into an airline/travel partner program you must be a member of the relevant airline/travel rewards partner program. Membership of the airline/travel rewards partner program is the Cardmember’s responsibility. Subject to the Terms & Conditions of the applicable partner program and a joining fee may apply.
The APS receives revenue on member generated activity through the member benefits program. This revenue is applied to maintain the quality and diversity of APS services, further benefiting you professionally, personally and in your career and business.
